Color

Crystal clear. A drop of water creates a fast and misty louche with a very light bright veil.

Aroma

Fresh. Aniseed and wormwood are harmoniously integrated to the licorice and citrus notes.

Taste

On the pleasant first sip, the licorice and fennel are complimented by a hint of fresh lemon balm, wormwood and a very mild star anise taste.

Finish

The aftertaste is spicy and mildly bitter.

Family and tradition since 1898
The home of absinthe is a green valley in Switzerland. Tucked away in this misty valley, there is a small village called Couvet, where absinthe came into being in the 18th century. The village is surrounded by the mystical hills of Jura, which are rocky, but full of clear streams and fragrant herbs.
