DOC‘s essences are crafted in the Dwersteg Distillery, founded in 1882. In our family run business, know-how in detail and the love of the finest ingredients has been handed down for generations. Ludger Teriete – friends call him „DOC“ – has been a partner in the Dwersteg Disti llery since 1980 and places great emphasis on producing high quality -excepti onal products. Building upon the extensive experience of the disti llery which was founded in 1882, he develops the award-winning Dwersteg Organic Liqueurs, Spirits and Essences. Together with his wife Monika – friends call her „Mo“ – they search all over the world for new inspirati on and tastes.

Made from organic and Fair Trade Arabica and Robusta coffee beans macerated in organic wheat distillate and water. Raw coffee beans are almost tasteless and odorless only after being roasted they unfold the more than 800 flavor components. DOC‘s Kaffe Ezzens has a nutty aroma followed by sweet vanilla and spicy smoky notes.
Vibrant and citrusy with floral notes followed by slightly peppery and grassy notes. DOC‘s Zitronengrass Essenz is made from fairly traded lemongrass, organic wheat distillate and water. The maceration is made using only shredded organic lemongrass.
Sweet-earthy and floral. Made from fairly traded vanilla pods, organic wheat distillate and water in order to obtain a highly aromatic essence. DOC’s Essence is best served it as a basic ingredient for cocktails or as a flavoring enhancer in dishes. The recommended storing temperature is 16 C°-20 C°, store upright. No minimum sell-by date.
